Hello everybody, great site.

Here are some pics and video of my new shelf layout. It's not done yet but its been a ton of fun so far - I am hooked!

I started planning it using Anyrail. Had to keep to a 12' length and 16" width + a 4' x 20" area for space reasons (wife had a say in that):

It's a blast to operate.. Hope you like!

Nicely done. I really like shelf switching layouts.

Here is a very cheap and easy tip for you. Get some black construction paper, and put that inside your structures so you don't see right through them. It is a huge improvement that is super easy to do. I do it on my layout.

Keep up the good work.

They dont look right with all that light in there

Nice layout and trackplan. I'm a fan of shelf layouts.

As for the windows, there's a discussion over at the MR forums about this. Techniques range from spraying the window glazing with Dullcote to fog it, to brushing on canopy cement (for RC planes.) It dries clear but supposedly has enough ripples that it distorts the light and keeps you from seeing inside.

Do a Google search on Factory Windows (or Warehouse Windows) and click the image tab. You'll find all sorts of inspiration for weathering windows. One way is to just paint right over them....
