Been getting the itch for awhile now and decided to start off with an old postwar era set. I almost went with HO and DCC and I'm sure that will be in the future as I like the idea of running multiple trains at once. Well here are a few pics of the 1st set of mine. I took a chance and bought the 2055, tender and cars off of Ebay and lucked out, all are in excellant shape. I bought the 2065/tender from some guy off of craigslist and also lucked out.
thats a wonderful looking engine, and if you want multiple trains at one time, look in to Lionel's TMCC "train master command control" or MTH's DCS "Digital Command System" im getting one as soon as i can afford it with being out of work and all.

). Very nice deal indeed. I don't know how old those cars are but I swear that caboose looks exactly like the one I had in 1953.
