I can't get the hang of taking pictures in low light. They come out all fuzzy and dull (without flash) or bright and washed out (with flash). Anyway...here is the best I can do. The GPs were undecorated shells to begin with. Gotta add rails, horns and windows now. The Conrail car is a cheap Bachmann I was experimenting with. You can see the ends are not weathered.
Allen, the weathering on the engines and the boxcar look really good. The third unit would look better with the walkways rusted up like the first two. As far as pictures go, what kind of camera do you have? Do you have a tripod? As long as the camera has manual settings and you have a tripod, you can take decent pictures in low light with a longer exposure. It's just a matter of practice, much like weathering.
