The last train I went out of the way to see was when the Big Boy went thru Dekalb Il a few miles away. The UP runs across the street from my Sons house so I got to see the BB and the grandkids at the same time. My d.i.l. is a pro phtotgrapher so syhe took the pix aand I just watched. So while I like trains, train trips I am not a railfan as such, or maybe I am. I live maybe 30 min drive from IRM and almost never get there.
