Hello all! New to the forum. I have a few questions on super detailing a atlas gp38-2 trainman locomotives I have in road #272 and 276. Ive done some research on these locomotives but come up with some unaswered questions. First? is did lirr geeps use sinclair type radio antenna? in all the photos that i seen i did not see any but was told that they did,i guess its just hard to see because they are low profile.Second? is did #272 or#276 ever been painted in the dark blue and yellow paint scheme in the early 90s?,I seem to not find any photos of them painted in this scheme. 3rd ? the long box thats in front of the engineer side front cab window next to the nose, is this the signal box? and if so or not what is it and what size is it? Last ? is the front plow on these geeps from what I understand is were called the rockcrusher plows. is this correct? The ony plow I found that even came close to that style is the chessie system plow from details west. almost looks like but needs some filing to make it look perfect. So those are my questions right now,and thanks for reading my post and nice to meet you all!
