So, I've been telling myself I need to start carrying my government issued mini-notebook with me, to jot down ideas, that I generate during my every day activities... Here's my digital version. Feel free to join in with your ideas. I'll be starting a 2nd similar thread for modelers photos too.

Here's my first few ideas:

-Ford Mustang Police car. The city of Coronado has a few, here in San Diego area. I saw one a few days ago, and now I want a few. Ricko makes them in HO scale.

(its going to ask you to save the photo, the server its on does not allow direct, browser viewing, cannot find another photo).

-UH1 Huey fire or police helicopter. Roco makes them in HO, and fire departments & police departments have hand-me-downs and variations.

-Tool bed box from a Trident pick-up, is the exact same dimensions as the RPS F250/350 beds. Replace RPS bed with Trident bed.

-Fedex Custom Critical truck. There are many variations, most are based on a Semi cab with a sleeper, and a box on the back, instead of a 5th wheel. Tractor-trailer combos also exist.

-Storm water drain system, vacuum truck. You see these all over the place, with the HUGE hose hanging from the truck. Good modeling idea.

A really good looking commercial tow truck. Not the heavy duty kind, just a regular tow truck. Because of my era, rollbacks don't work, so I just need a regular tow truck and the few that are out there look terrible.

How about some mobile homes that aren't kits, aren't resin, and cost less than $17? It can't be that hard to make one in plastic

Regular LED store signs. Not the animated ones, just things like "Restaurant" or "Bank" that have internal lighting and could either be mounted horizontally on a building or hung vertically. I've made a few of my own and they take an inordinate amunt of time compared to what a company with injection molding machines could do.
