When I read "Delete it from your browser" I take it to mean from the "tools" option in the top left of my browser, Firefox. That's what I tried without success until I followed the details you provided more recently, starting in the upper right of the forum's site.
Although my existing log-in and password no longer worked (for who knows what reason), I was able to create a new pair and am now logged in. Still, I was unable to create a screen name, getting back on each attempt a very lengthy reddish box full of error messages and other cbyer space gobblygook. So, like the WWII film "The Man With No Name," I'll remain The Man With....
