A few years back I remember talking to a model railroader who does Norfolk Southern (Modern) and was telling me there was a shop back in the NS territory that did the RP-ED4 road slugs? I am just getting back into the project in general (many different roads SP/UP/WP of the old days) but also a number of eastern roads. Would anyone happen to know of a person or shop that might have this unit and it's mother as well?
 
I know I have seen them kit bashed before. The Portland & Western has 2 mother/slug sets that I will be kit bashing later on.
 
There was a two part article a few years ago in Model Railroading on a NS GP40/RP-E4D. Part one was on the GP40 mother and part two was how to build the RP-E4D.
