This might sound a bit crazy, but would a shot without a train - or perhaps only a freight car on a siding - be permissible? Some of my favorite memories [and photos] of country railroad scenes are of a lonely, unoccupied single-track right of way in the middle of nowhere. These always fired up my imagination. I plan on doing several dioramas like this in the future.
