Drafting Chairs:

I stacked books on my 30" Bar Stool, and found that the minimum height for a good overview of my layout would be 38" above the floor.

I looked at dozens of drafting chairs on Amazon, and found that none had a maximum height over 34".

EXCEPT THIS ADJUSTABLE STEEL BAR STOOL for $49.95. (30" to 39", 250 pounds max...I weigh 200)

UNRELATED to thread but related to chair itself:
If anyone has a personal or club layout with a duck-under, keep one of these at the duck under.
So nifty to be able to sit in it, lower it, roll backwards under benchwork, pop it up, walk out of it..No more crawling on floor or that bending-over dance...and great for doing longer work like wiring, adding /redoing riser, underneath; the rollabilty of it..

Sorry, I meant this post to appear under migalyto's post/ 'drafting chair', above Hal's. Plus the chair I'm referring to is without the chrome foot rung or armrests. I mean the smaller/lower type chair...
