I'm working on a 30 year old brass model.
The insulation between the wheels and the driver tires on the insulated side of the loco must have dried our or gotten thinner in some other way, because the driver tires are loose, even contacting side rods and causing shorts.
My first thought was to ACC the tires back on. But I thought I would ask if any one else has had and solved this problem, and see what other, maybe better solutions may be out there.
