A question for the pro: Can I solder the wires directly under the Kato Unitrack track? Or should I use Kato 24-818?

I believe these are what I used for my feeder wires on my layout. I didn’t solder anything on my layout and it turned out great! Highly recommend!

The track is laid and the layout is ready to run. Now, I'm waiting for my very first diesel loco.

Building this little pizza layout and running this locomotive was very funny. But the N scale is definitely too small for me...So back to H0 !

Because I can't disassemble the Kato Unitrack without breaking something (I nailed it to the benchwork), I decided to keep the diesel. So it's a small N scale layout with a single locomotive.

And a great base for a table top Christmas village and tree.

Add a passenger car or two and instant Christmas Express for the village. Pull some boxcars for Santa's Helper train.

If you would like, I could send you all of my Rapido couplers and pizza cutter style wheels. They're just taking up space in my repairs toolbox. Rather give them to someone who can use them instead of eventually throwing them away.
