Little engine shop

Not sure there is much to show off here but we'll give it a try and welcome any feedback.

This diorama was inspired by several different sources: Boomer Diorama's YouTube channel, @RE#1 's Locomotive Shop, Pike Stuff Engine facility and I'm sure more.

Here's the progress so far.

I'm trying to limit myself to the following tools and materials.
  • 1 Styrene For Sale sign from Lowes (Larger size) ~0.02"
  • Code 83 track soldered on PCB ties + wood ties.
  • 123 block
  • Plastruct Plastic Weld glue
  • HO Scale ruler
  • Hobby knife
  • Strip cutter

Looks good so far, but without knowing what your final aim to create is, bit hard to judge

I’ve never seen the styrene sign material but it looks like great stuff!
Ill be following along!

@santafewillie mentioned something about using it for sidewalks in another post.

@Rico Watch the prices though some are significantly more expensive than others. This is the one I bought at Lowe's the smaller 8x12 is thinner. Some are vinyl and styrene. The Plastruct plastic weld seems to fuse them together nicely. I'm sure it's more work than clean styrene from Evergreen or other places as it seems to weld better if I scrape the finish off first. As I don't have a hobby shop very close it makes a nice substitute.
