I recieved the transformer today that I got off ebay. During shipment the handle had come off and the bulb was broken. The bulb is a 12-16 volt, 25 amp, non screw in type. I have no idea if this is an original bulb, or a later replacement. Are these bulbs still readily available at RS or elsewhere? Thanks.
That is a very common bulb, and pretty much any similar voltage bayonet base bulb will do the trick. I'd probably look for an 18V bulb, it'll draw less current and have a much longer life. A 1447 bulb would do the trick, lower current.
