I like TYCO!
Guys,
I've been looking at small steam switchers and was wondering if this is a good one?

Any other suggestions for small locos? Was there not an EMD model 40 diesel model now?

Are you looking at the standard life-like or the proto 2000 swircher? If you are looking for a neat little switcher I would look at the porter that Spectrum put out. Smooth little runner and has decent pulling power. I know spectrum also has a 44 tonner and there is also a porter by mantua.

Today I've seen some pictures form the MRC "Little Critter" taken from the Chicago show by my model railroad dealer. So they will come...

I would go for the Spectrum porter I think they are the most bang for the buck.
