I've been away from the world of LGB for some time. About 10-15 years. So did they go under or stop shipping to the US? I know Walther's have become a reseller of their stuff, but it sure seems like only slim pickens are left and they are hard to get a hold of.
LGB went bankrupt in 2008. It was bought out by Marklin and Marklin is distributing the LGB products still in stock through Walthers. Marklin is supposed to restart production on the LGB line in January so we'll have to see what they retain of the old LGB line up. I suspect at some point LGB will just be absorbed by Marlin, much the same way Life-Like was absorbed by Walthers.
Thats too bad. I would love to see new LGB products.
Marklin has now gone bankrupt. Whether or not they get to emerge from bankruptcy is another matter. So for now at least, LGB is currently OOP.
