I've only been in model railroading for a year. So, maybe one day I will get these massive collections. But I doubt it, since I'm strictly UP. I try to by top notch engines all of which have DCC and sound. Most of my engines are BLI Paragon/or Paragon 2, MTH, and Athearn Genesis. I've got some brass passenger cars but no engines yet. I think that will be my next step if they start to come with DCC and sound.

That's an impressive collection for only being in the hobby for a year. I only have like 5 engines right now. But most of my money and time have been spent working on the layout. I'm sure I'll start gathering up more engines though...
