layout penisula addition

Well I posted my layout a while earlier and someone commented on the big open space in the middle of the room. Well originally the kids would play in the center but not much of that has been going on. Well tonight I decided to draw a possible addition, this version shows Evanston which is on the way to Ogden. I would model only the mainline passing through not the full portion of it. Tell me what ya'll think

I like that, as in a "normal" responce what are your considered isle clearances?

If it add's more main line it's worth doing, as long as the aisle width's are OK it should work out real good, i like the backdrop divider up the middle.

Nice, I like that roundhouse, now before I put my foot in my mouth , what size is the room?

19'-6" x 20'-0" overall room dimensions
both aisles would be at least 3'0"
I am excited about scratch building the roundhouse
I am thinking on the new penisula I would do a pass thru Evanston look
just show a couple of passing sidings not sure if I would do the roundhouse and turntable there or not or at least make it look like its there fake the whole thing in.
