My duck under layout is going to require 12 four foot florescent lights (2 bulbs each). I could go with 8 footers but those are pretty expensive. Anyway,...my plan was to tie all of these together on one wall switch. Should I designate a separate breaker for these? This will also include running the layout which I know isn't much of a draw.

If it were me, and it actually WILL be once I get started on the layout, I would (and will) put it on it's own breaker.

I'd go with a designated breaker as well, maybe even two switches that tie in every second light, or different sides/ends of the room.
When I do my next layout the top plug of every outlet will be switched as well.
A little more money but well worth it in the end.

Thanks guys! Now the big question since I'm no electrician,...what amp breaker would you use for an application like this?
