When I have the time between clients I model June 1899. Nice period, air/vacuum brakes were common, Janey couplers were coming into use but still plenty of link/pins around. Car were mostly wood, only a few metal under frames.
I ask because somehow I have a Classic Miniature CM-17, 1861 Fire Station, Nevada City, CA. The box has been opened, but I'm sure everything is there. It's just going to rot away in my garage and I was looking for a good home to send it to.
