Hello there, my name is Bill Walters and I'm LasVegasUP. Some of you may know me, as I've been on other forum sites, but has been having issues with the other site so here I am starting over again...
I model the Union Pacific railroad and operate the "Union Pacific's Northern Mojave Division" in modern time. The Mojave Desert is from the Cajon Pass in CA and stretches north to the Virgin River Gorge on the AZ and UT state lines. In the center of all of this lies my home, a small little desert community that is called Las Vegas, NV.
My empire is a 17' X 12' N Scale fixed layout that has 3 separate main lines that can all be operated at the same time. I like to operate long trains. I just posted a video of a 45 car coal porter train that is mostly kato except for 13 of the Deluxe Innovations coal cars.
Most of my motive power is Kato, and I have about 30 diesel engine that I run. I do own about 5 Atlas yard and switching engines for yard switching, spur line deliveries and MOW service. I'm into the MOW track service for some reason. I own several of the UP MOW green painted service cars, Plasser & Theurer track tamper, inspection car, track speeder, ballast cars, gondola and crane service. I'm even building a 3 track MOW yard on the north end of my rail yard.
