Las Vegas - Good train or general tool shops, are there any in Las Vegas remotely close to the strip or otherwise?
thanks ,,,, ken
I just got home from Vegas tonight. I googled "model railroad", and "hobby shops". Didn't come up with a whole lot. Henderson hobbies came up, but I think they're more for R/C. There was another that I randomly found, but it didn't show up under those searches. Didn't really have time to check any out though, that place is busy!

I also live in Las Vegas and there are three stores in the Vegas area. Westside Trains, 2960 S Durango Dr. Ste 117. You have to go to the second set of building off Durango to see the store. Also the Train Exchange at 6008 Boulder Hwy. Owned by a man named Dave. Very knowledgeable, been around for awhile. And then there is Hobby Town at 4590 W Sahara, Ste 103. They have a fairly good selection of track and some rolling stock.
Have a good evening
Chuck
