Anyone ever used this product, or even heard of it before?

Kit-O-Mat is a revolutionary model design software and laser cutting service for model railroaders. Using a simple interface of sliders Kit-O-Mat lets you design the models you want, KingMill then cuts your design and ships the laser-accurate parts back to you for assembly.

Interesting product, though I'd sure like to get some idea of how much this custom designed building I might create would cost before I shell out $40 for the program to design it. If a simple structure is reasonable, I'd probably give it a shot. If a basic design starts at $100 or so, then I'm not interested.

Mr had an article about this a year or so ago. I thought it looked cool. In reality, it might be if someone made a lame building, they would get a lame kit.

Software needs to be designed for the dumbest user.
