C Cjcrescent Master Mechanic Dec 5, 2013 #2 Judging from the photos on the Kato website, it looks like a piece of Unitrack mounted onto some type of trough that acts as a bridge deck. I'm sure that this also allows the track to attach to Kato's accessories like bridge piers, bridges etc.
