Just outta curiosity...

Nate, you really need to invest in a copy of the latest Diesel Spotters Guide. Not trying to make you feel bad but that's a pretty big feature to not know anything about.

Ahh I'll have to look into it, and no offence taken, but yea...I know its a huge feature, thats why I was wonderin'

Where could I get a copy of this guide anyway?

Thanks,

Nate

Very cool Todd! Thanks for the links...Ill have to get my hands on those lol

See them now. But I thought they were parallel with the longitudinal axis in a fuel tank recess on the conductors side?

EDIT:Engineers side, like this: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=311664&nseq=2

Theyre only like that on a C40-8 (or 9) becuase of the size of the trucks and fuel tank (having 3 axels on each). On a B40-8 or B39-8 theyre on the front and back of the fuel tank, behind each set of trucks (depending which way youre looking at it)

You're right. I didn't even notice that these were 4 axles.
