Ok so this is probally very dumb to most of you guys, but i just recieved an athearn amd 103 Amtrak loco, with dcc quick plug. Question is the directions say to remove jumper board 1st then plug in decoder. The dierections point to the jumper board however i can't seem to figure out how to remove it without possibly breaking it, as i have never done it. It would seem like it would just slide out of the connector but i can't see a way to release it? Do i grab it with needle nose pliers and yank it out?

Most people say locos need a break in period - usually several hours.

What did you have to do to remove the jumper? Anything special or just pull real hard?

Came across a different post with same issue and he said just grab each side and wiggle it side to side and it would come loose and walah it did!
