I'm slowly learning to use DecoderPro. I have done two locos so far that I have also made into a consist.
For some reason, DecoderPro will not recognize the decoder in my Atlas Gold GP40-2. It runs fine on my layout. Not sure why DecoderPro can''t see it on the programming track.
Any ideas?
try op mode on the main? if there's a tsunami in it it will be fidgety on the programming track, you cant read the cvs in op mode but the tsunamis have a voiceback telling you cv numbers.
If there is a sound unit in the GP-40, unless its a QSI, you'll need a programming booster to read it. I have a Soundtraxx PTB-100 attached to my PR-3 just for reading and programming sound units on the programming track.
