I bought a Japanese mogul some years ago, and when I ran it, the darn thing goes 200 MPH plus. It's a Micro Ace 2-6-0 AO290 on the box, and all writing is in Japanese, or something oriental Kit NO.AO290-9500. I've had it running using a couple of wires connected to the tender wheels to help break it in.
Does anyone know anything about this locomotive, or have anything to say about it? Can't remember what I paid for it. It looks a little like the Bachman 4-4-0 boiler wise, and size wise. Motor is in the cab, unlike the 4-4-0 of bachman.

Try posting a couple of pictures of it along with a shot of the box end with the label :) Is it a Japanese prototype locomotive or American?
