Gray track, I just returned after a 10 year hiatus. Been doing it off and on since about 1957. Lots of things have changed in that 10 years, I can imagine the change in 50 years.

I started with Ulrich hoppers and Silver Streak cars back in 57. Paint was 410M. Lots of craftsman kits then, not nearly so many now. Bad, really bad ready-to-run stuff back 50 years ago, awesome ready-to-run now.

Welcome back. Forum members have really been helpful for me in catching up using some of the new materials and techniques.

The bar is definitely being raised by some of the outstanding work being done by members.

Ouch! 50 years ago and seeing that made me realize I was in high school then. I too, had a long break of 30 years and returned to MR for my retirement hobby. Great move on my part and I haven't looked back. A hardy welcome to the forum and your return to the hobby.
