I have the same locomotive. If you remove the light bar is there a circuit board underneath with a pin connector? If not, and there's no pin connector Is it still possible to add a DCC decoder?
 
No, there's no DCC decoder connector. The first thing you will have to do is isolate the motor from the frame and then solder the motor control and light wires in place from the decoder. I don't remember if that model had LED headlights or incandescent. I think they were incandescent but, if not, it helps to get a decoder that already has the resistors in place for 3 volt LED's.
