I think that's part of the reason I cling to this hobby. A member of the Model Railroader forum has a signature byline that says it all:

I've been trying to resign for a long time, however all I get back is resignation not accepted. Hopefully second childhood is compulsory and no resignation required to enter. In the meantime just as a child does I have to sneak away for a bit of fun time.

I was tempted until I thought about just how difficult it was to get from 8 to 62. I just don't want to work that hard all over again! I'd much rather RETIRE and not have to make the journey again.
