I picked up a set of 3 locos from a guy for 5 bucks each today, planning to fix them up. One of them was a battered HO scale Rivarossi 0-4-0 Dockside. Since I'm young, I don't know where to start with it. Can someone who is an expert on these things tell me where to start? BTW, it runs almost perfectly.

Check with Bowser to see how many parts to their kit of this loco is still available. I would also get a PSC, (Precision Scale Company) parts catalog to see what they have. PSC is the current maker for the old Kemtron line of Brass detail parts and Kemtron had a lot of parts for this engine.
