Went out to buy framing materials for the benchwork of the new Rock Ridge and Train City II. Turns out I only brought enough money for the legs and a few cross-members. I'm framing it in 3/4" Birch ply in 3" strips.
At least I have enough to get the basic frame built.
The plan Stan. (In case you forgot)
Bought time you got your butt in gear.
Now come kick mine into gear.
I am digging the plan for it. Looks good!
Dan,
Thanks. Now grab your ankles.
Looks good Chip, more pics to follow?
It's funny I start building something new when you guys are in winter, cause I see all these wonderful plans, pictures etc. My layout is in the garage again and it's stinking hot out there (summer 30c days)
Ken.
Well I ripped the ply down and an ready to make the legs, but the adjustable feet I got fro Christmas went AWOL. Spent as much time looking for those little beggars as I did cutting wood. I hate that.
But isn't that half the fun in the hobby...looking for stuff you know you have, but can't seem to find? While looking, opening this and turning over that, you hear a lot of "Oh, yeah, I forgot I had these, too!" coming from your own lips. I know I experience that regularly...I could probably open a small LHS by now.

Crandell,
As a matter of fact I did find some Caboose switches.
