And finally I began to work on my road plan , the white lots are for interchangable buildings, I'm working on a collection of different building lots that can be changed when I get bored with my towns look, so far I have about 12 different buildings on moveable lots or yards.

Well thats it folks, next I get to build interchangable mountains and hills, also picked up about 54 trees, some pine and 4 real nice big strange trees.

today was a busy day.

Hope you like my progress.

Jess, LOL, I like that sub. I guess drunks drive into lake all over. That quarry needs another color than pink though. I looks like they are havesting cake frosting. :)

Yup, I agree, but this is the color of pipestone when it is unearthed and before being treated with bees wax??? What can I say, I could change the quarry over to some other product but I'm not sure what, I wanted something original?

I chose the pipe stone because it is our sacred stone for making our pipes and is found in only one quarry in the whole world so I wanted something that is not found on layouts else where?

I do think the color is funky, maybe I'll repaint it too the tone of red we get after appling the bees wax it is darker and not so pink.

Thanks for the reply my friend.

Jess, if that is what raw pipe stone looks like, stick with it. It's certainly unique.

I agree, but I think it might help tone down the color with a coat of a flat clear. I wouldn't think the raw clay would be quite so shiny.

My pipe stone is slimy looking....

 , I'm looking into this, If I find that the pipe stone is too slimy looking than I'll dull coat it, if not I'll just cahnged the quarry sign to red, Red Horse Strawberry Frosting Company....LOL!...AH, NO!!!

Maybe dull coat, I'll test a small patch first.

The pipe stone comes out of the ground as finished rock and as I'm sure Native pipe carvers everywhere would wish it would carve as easy as clay it can't be concidered clay thats for sure...:D
