HO Turnouts with 24" Radius

If you were going to construct a layout with 24" radii, what size turnout would be appropriate? I was thinking of going with an 8, but maybe a 6 might be better. And would Electrofrog (sp?) or Insulfrog (sp) be better?

I am considering Micro Engineering flex-track with Peco turnouts.

By the way, the largest locomotive I'll be running is a 4-8-4.

Oh, one more question: what would be the right rail connectors to use?

Peco turnouts are very nice if you have the $$ as I have said before if could build my layout again it would be with Peco I always use atlas rail joiners with the Atlas track that I used
