My father is building an Atlas layout (HO #35) for my kids. He ordered a steam locomotive for it and I want to order some cars. I want to be semi-historical and get cars that fit the time period. Is there any resources out there that show time periods of locomotives and what types of cars they pulled? Also information on regions. The layout is the Berkshire Valley. My father ordered a Bachmann Berkshire Valley 2-8-4 locomotive.

Any suggestions would be great.
