Thanks…👍🏻

Basement ok… I had to remove a rooms worth of carpet and underpad….basically the victim of record rainfalls and a 70 year-old house…now just the concrete floor now and I’m happy with that

The handwheels I believe came from a German 3.7 cm flak gun… I have a lot of armour and aircraft plastic kits that I like to make scrap loads from..

Just a general FYI, we check frequently for spam links in posts and messages, and delete them, and the forum member posting them, immediately...

Ahh. Yeah, the crank on the handwheel I assumed was for a “knocker,” a handwheel with intentional play in it, to allow some momentum to build up until things slam together; good for valves that need a little grunt to get going. In the facilities I worked in, few valves had knockers.

I don’t know why, but now the castle door scene of “Young Frankenstein” comes to mind.
