I am from Iowa. The railroad that runs around here UP so I going into UP HO..I all ready have a GP40 UP from years back.I am gettting back into the wonderful world of railroading with my 16 year old son.Time sure have changed since I was in it that is for sure..
 
Hi Jason. I'm pretty new here myself, but it is a great place! Sounds like you are in about the same situation as me. When I was last active with a layout, DCC was the real new thing "coming down the track". Sorry, I couldn't resist.:D I'm learning a lot of new stuff here and I think you will too. Lot's of people here that know a lot about model trains so I'm sure that you will get the answers you need, Bob.

Welcome back and welcome aboard. Yes things have changed as I am coming back from being gone for 10+ years. So lots to catch up on.
 
Hi Jason, welcome to the modelrailroadforums. Guess Ive been around here for a long time but haven't done much in model rail for the past few years due to other commitments. However 2012 will be a new start for me with a new layout in progress.
