Can some one point me in the right direction as to build a 4X8 Table. I plan on building it in my garage when the weather breaks. But since im on a tight budget. i need to buy the stuff i need here and there. is there any video on this subject? thanks for any help
Welcome to the forums! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyenCuseToA This is a step by step video on one way to build a 4x8, although I prefer using 1x4's for framing, and 2x4's for legs, and instead nails using screws. We are using 7/16" OSB for the top layer. There are hundreds of ways to build benchwork, so my advice is search around and see what you like and what is in your budget. If you search these forums there are many threads on how to build nice solid benchwork, and many friendly users to help answer questions. Good luck with your layout and post some pics when you get somewhere!
