Pete,
Welcome aboard. I don't live in your area, but we can all be of some help if we know know your definition of "huge". It also helps if we know your scale and what era you're going to model. If you haven't done any track planning yet, there are free software programs that will allow you to plan the whole layout and post your your trackplan here. I built my layout before I knew about this forum, and I have several really glaring errors that I could have corrected if other eyes had seen my track plan.
need construction help if you are in the area would like to meet other modelers and work on the layout with anyone interested need to be in the area it's only me and it's a big layout in h.o. 26'8" by 24" it turns 18" by 20' to a 6' by 9' through the wall to a 6' by 9' so it's kinda large and just startin only have the deckin up no track or landscapin yet have some track drawins so need some assistance at the home if insterested thanks b.n.s.f. pete it will be mostly intermodal dead frieght and passenger of newer modern age like 80s would change track plans if it works better this is not my first layout but look like it will take some time the last one took one year i enjoy buildin and hope someone in the area would also thanks
