Started enjoying trains as a young child with O27 & O gauge. My father's trade was building steam locomotives in europe.
Because space restrictions I now model Eastcoast HO.:)

Nice choices! I have a similar collection, but I do run my engines in a rotation of sorts:

Allegheny H-8 2-6-6-6
Union Pacific Challenger (greyhound with smoke lifters)
2-10-2
C&O Heavy Mountain 4-8-2
N&W Y6b
J Class
A Class
H24-66 Trainmaster
NYC Niagara S1b
2-8-2 H7
CPR SW-8
Selkirk 2-10-4
TH&B 4-6-4
PRR K4
J1
T1
Q2
FA2/B2
Santa Fe 4-8-4
SD75M (two)

I like collecting locomotives that appeal to me, with a slight view to concentrating on the roads indicated.

I think you should find a lot of good information and sharing of opinions here.

Except for the odd ball, Santa Fe F7 A,B,A Freight, Blue/Yellow, I try to stick to the east coast in the 1930's to 1950's time period. What I find troubling is that most model manufactures produce for the most part west coast roads.:(

Welcome to the forums, R.Jag. This is a great model railroading site and it looks like you've got a great collection started.
