I drool over the one at my LHS every time I go in there but I can't justify the expense. I have a non operating container crane that a friend gave me.

BN Modeller
Wow, no kidding!

At that price the seller should net about, after the insertion fees, final value sellers fees, paypal fees, and final value shipping fees, a tidy $58.94!!!

(do you detect a hint of comtempt here?)

We have the crane on our club layout in the mall. We use atlas n scale track. The wheels of the crane have flanges on both sides of the wheel, so there is no derailing. Our crane travels three feet. We also put transmision fluid on both the track & gantry rails. Since this is the only thing on this track, it performs better. I also, have had to dismantle the crane to rewind the lift cables. While doing this I install a operator in the cab. It is a great addition to our layout. Good Luck
