I plan to expand my fabulous CCRR a bit. Currently I use 15" and 18" curves. 15" curves are too tight for six-axled diesels or steam locos.
I want to use 18" and 20" curves. I'm going to keep the same track plan because I really like it.
All your comments and advices will be greatly appreciated.

Christian: If you are gonna make it bigger, do so with gusto. Go for 22 to 24" ( or bigger ) curves! Geesh, if you do that, longer straight portions also!

Sound's like a winner Christian, how much extra room is SWMBO going to let you have, ctclibby's idea of longer straights is definitely a good one if she will let you have a bit more room.

Action on the fabulous and incredible (of course!) CCRR: A very old steam loco called 141R (1977) made by Jouef in France. It runs very well as you can see. Have a wonderful day !

This morning (it's already 11:52 am in France) I built my new benchwork. It needs a coat or two of paint. I am very satisfied with the result. I used all the wood I can find in my garage, so I didn't spend any money at all !
