Hi,
I am a software engineer in Sri Lanka. Here, in Sri Lanka this hobby is not a popular one. hence there are no any shops to visit and (have a chat with the owner about trains) purchase the things. Only way is to purchase from online shopping sites. when I am doing that, the information of the product is very critical (which is lack in most sites).

My intention is also to create a layout which has several trains run on same track. But I know that will be a difficult task.

because of my curiosity, I have straightaway purchased "N scaled Bachmann-Highballer" train set. But now I am thinking that, will it be a good match for my ultimate intention.

Can anyone please tell me whether I can extend the track provided with "Bachmann-Highballer" set to run several trains on it, or is it a wast purchase, considering my intention.

also please suggest me some set of N scale products,
trains/ train sets
tracks
vagons
other equipments

to create my layout.

JMO, because your just starting out best thing you can order first is Books lots and lots of N scale primer books! There is a lot on the market when it comes to n scale and most is good stuff and some stuff is best left in the box at the local hobby shop. Kato has some great starter sets and the trains are top notch! I'm not sure you didn't state what country you plan to model? That will help narrow down what manufactures your going to buy models from too..... Not having a LHS(Local Hobby Shop) isn't going to slow you down much you have this forum and lot's of great On-line Hobby shops to chose from!

To help choose your equipment, you must first first decide what Prototype trains, area you plan to model, and era (time frame) you want to model. Then I sudgest you read up and gain as much knowledge on how the real Railroad you want to model works. This will help with building a layout and picking equipment greatly! hope this helps some!:)
