Good for you, Crandell. I was wrong until the article. Apparently, the ones in the top two spots have been best sellers for at least a few years.
 
I may have helped myself inadvertently. Over the past few weeks I have had occasion to bump into websites looking for stuff on sale, not necessarily trains, and I noticed that many of them seem to have a sense that G scale is going big these days...er,....selling big....whatever. So, when I read your question, I thought back to a typical home page at the major etailers and immmediately conjured up a mental image of a G scale set of some description. :D
