They fell off the table too many times all the detail was broken off of them and were about worthless. I tryed everything including changing the wheels and it just didnt work. they need to be diecast to work right.
I put in a request to kato to make a version of them
The problem with the Intermountian ones is that the same screw that holds
the wheels on is also the pin that holds the cars togeather. to work right you have to loosen the screw some and then they just wobble all over the place and lean thru the turns and are just a compleat mess, The coupler pockets keep comming loose and to tighten them enough strips out the screw hole and then the coupler dosnt stay on at all. I am really dissapointed with the intermountian sets.
They also have the Two piece trucks that I have seen mentioned in other threads that seem to have caused alot of problems as well and these just didnt set right.
