This summer I went to the east coast…. At the beach I got a bag of fine sand with the intention of using to fill in some of the bald spots on the layout…
Wet it’s a bit on the red side, but dry (2nd pic drying) it’s more blonde…I may have to airbrush mist it with some Deck Tan or Desert Sand..but we’ll see…
Photos are helpful because I just noticed a white glue drop on the roof sill of the SCL boxcar
More Woodland Scenics cactus, beach sand and construction site pebbles installed today… 2 of these plants together look better than one…
And the plants could stand for a repaint….
Some more this AM… I lost a bit of the purple/blue cactus last night…there were 6 pieces of it white glued last to the table last night…this AM 4 pieces remain…
I am thinking 2 pieces stuck to the drill bits I placed on either side to prop it upright and when I remove the bits they disappeared into room somewhere…?
