Some of you know my grandchildren are involved on my layout.

My older granddaughter brought her track and trains.

Thats awesome!

My daughter is 12, and takes a small interest in the layout. Shes more of a grab a wireless throttle and run them.

I've just started my weathering journey, and that's what they're doing in science right now. The weathering and erosion of different materials in nature, so Shes actually taken a little interest in that.

David Cmon that's not real grass is it Who has grass that looks that good ???
And she looks like having fun Pretty soon she'll be taking over your RR

Mike.

Years of weedkiller and a lawnmower --------------------.

Artificial lawn. The best investment. The grandkids (and me) can play anytime.

As for her taking over? All five grandchildren can (and do) 'take charge' of their part of the layout. I just watch them. ☺️
