I am just thinking out loud here… does any company market HO soda cans, newspapers, plastic bags and other crap found in ditches or plastered against fences…?
I just make my own, so I have never looked for any models of it. For soda cans, I use .020" styrene rod painted in whatever color and cut into 1/16" pieces. I dab the ends with aluminum colored paint and it's a beverage can. Red for Coke, blue for Pepsi or Bud Light, etc. Newspapers are easy to make from tissue paper soaked with diluted white glue, but they are fragile until dry. I generally make them in place rather than at the workbench. A little practice goes a long way. Black or white garbage sacks can be made from scraps of the real thing wrapped and glued around small pebbles. Old shoes - Since I have to cut the legs off figures to fit them in vehicles, I have a ready source of shoes.
Side note. I make cow flops by mixing brown India Ink with white glue and applying it with an eyedropper where needed. I have also just dabbed it in place with a toothpick.
