Thanks a lot! I'm still adding pipes and tanks and railings and stuff. Weathering will come soon.
Here's another update! Weathering has begun, as well as some track placement and the likes.
UPDATE:
Still working on things - it definitely isn't one of my famous abandoned projects!!
Arranging the buildings is proving to be a little tricky. The scene I have to work with is narrow - only about 18in deep. I'm also struggling to find a way to transition such a large industrial scene to the rest of my layout, which is fairly rural. I'm thinking of some sort of overgrown drainage canal? That way I could have some pretty cool culverts and pipes seemingly leading from the Fructose plant.
Let me know what your thoughts are,
Mitch
Looking good!
Im hoping to be starting another paper mill soon in about the same space.
I’ll be splitting the buildings in two to stretch them out and make room for tracks.
Mitch - I like that idea of an overgrown drainage canal. It's rather prototypical.
Thanks for your feedback guys. Sounds like that's what I'll go with!
